Terms of Service

By creating an account or making a purchase on Egrimo Marketplace, you confirm you are at least 18 years old (or 16 with parental consent) and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Egrimo Marketplace is a digital marketplace where creators sell and buyers purchase downloadable digital products including documents, templates, media kits, guides, and other digital assets.

• Creators must provide accurate information during onboarding and maintain up-to-date payout details.
• You represent and warrant that all products you list are original, do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, and comply with applicable laws.
• Egrimo Marketplace reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these Terms, with or without prior notice.
• Transaction fees apply: Free plan 10%, Pro plan 7%, Growth plan 5%.

• All sales are of digital products. Once a file has been downloaded, the purchase is considered used.
• Buyers may request a refund within 7 days of purchase if the product is materially different from its description or is defective.
• Chargebacks initiated outside our refund process may result in account suspension.

You may not list, upload, or distribute:

• Plagiarised, pirated, or unlicensed content
• Explicit sexual or violent material
• Malware, spyware, or harmful software
• Content that promotes hate, discrimination, or illegal activities
• Misleading or fraudulent materials

6.1 Creator warranty

By listing a product on Egrimo Marketplace, you represent and warrant that:

• The product is your original work, or you hold all rights necessary to sell, distribute and license it on this platform;
• The product does not infringe the copyright, trademark, trade secret, publicity, privacy or any other right of any third party;
• You have not previously assigned exclusive rights in the product to anyone else in a way that conflicts with selling it here;
• You will defend, indemnify and hold Egrimo Marketplace harmless from any claim, loss, damage or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from a breach of these warranties.

6.2 Ownership & licensing

Creators retain ownership of their content. By listing on Egrimo Marketplace, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, market and deliver your products to buyers for the duration of the listing. Buyers receive a personal, non-transferable license to use purchased products for their own purposes unless the listing specifies otherwise.

6.3 Notice of copyright infringement (takedown)

If you believe a product on Egrimo Marketplace infringes your copyright, the fastest path is our public takedown form at egrimo.com/dmca. You can also send a written notice by email to ip@egrimo.com with the subject line “Copyright Notice”. Your notice must include:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works are affected).
2. Identification of the specific listing(s) on Egrimo Marketplace that you claim are infringing, including each product URL.
3. Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We review each notice in good faith and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the reported product. We may share your notice with the creator whose listing is the subject of the complaint.

6.4 Counter-notice

If your product has been removed and you believe the removal was the result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to ip@egrimo.com. The counter-notice must identify the removed product, include your contact information, and state under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake. We may reinstate the listing at our discretion after reviewing the counter-notice and the original complaint.

6.5 Repeat-infringer policy

Egrimo Marketplace terminates the accounts of creators determined, in our sole reasonable judgment, to be repeat infringers. As a guideline, a creator who has two or more listings removed for copyright or other intellectual-property infringement within any twelve-month period will have their account permanently terminated and may be banned from creating new accounts.

6.6 Removal without notice

We reserve the right to remove, suspend or disable access to any product, file or account at any time, with or without prior notice, where we reasonably suspect a violation of these Terms, a third-party intellectual-property right, or applicable law. We are not obliged to act as judge between competing claims and may remove content first and investigate afterwards. Reinstatement, where warranted, is at our sole discretion.

Payments are processed via Paystack. Creators can request payouts once their balance exceeds the minimum threshold. Payouts are subject to our fee schedule and Paystack’s transfer policies. We reserve the right to withhold payouts pending fraud investigation.

Creator Pro ($10/month) and Growth ($29/month) plans are billed monthly. Subscriptions auto-renew and can be cancelled at any time. No partial refunds for mid-cycle cancellations unless required by applicable law.

Sponsored homepage and search placements are charged separately. Placement fees are non-refundable once a placement period has commenced.

Egrimo Marketplace is a marketplace platform and is not liable for the quality, accuracy, or legality of products listed by creators.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Creator payouts of verified balances will be processed within 30 days of account closure.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Accra, Ghana.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-platform notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
